About Me
I'm a bridge builder, between ideas, audiences, brands and customers.
My Background
I began my career as a volunteer. I contributed to several volunteer organizations through leadership positions. I eventually found my passion for writing while working in the public affairs office at Fort Riley as a newspaper reporter. During that time, I received four Kansas Press Association awards. I later moved onto social media management through a local agency.
My Story
I grew up in Maryland with my nose in a book and I still love a good story. I met my husband while still in high school and followed him around in the U.S. Army for several years until he was medically retired and we decided to settle down in Charlotte, North Carolina with our two daughters. It was during those years in the Army, that I volunteered through various leadership roles and developed a passion for helping people. I prefer to work with clients who are contributing to the community around them in some way. If you know of a great business or cause out there changing the world or community in need of help getting the word out, feel free to contact me.
